Webb's The Gradute

I started reading this book hoping, I don't know, to maybe try to remember what it was like having just graduated from college. We didn't join up until three years after but many volunteers sign up either during their senior year or right after, i think. Anyway, it didn't really seem in any way similar.

I can sum up his feelings with this one quote from page 11:

"The whole four years," he said, looking up at his father.
"They were nothing. All the things I did are nothing. All the
distictions. The things I learned. All of a sudden none of
it seems to be worth anything to me."
I don't think the point was for Benjamin to open up. Anyway, i still want to see the movie. Supposedly he ponders a PC recruitment poster in it.
