I thought I could learn something from this book. I knew he did a sort of group portrait and that he recreated something no one knows for sure the best he could.
He did it well. He seems to cover every detail he could think to cover. He rode out on boats, went to the bars and shops, talked to weathermen, rescue divers and family. I mean he rocked it. And it actually made me realize that I should get my story down first and then decide what to spend time researching. Because right now I'm researching all kinds of things that may or may not be useful.
